3D deformation & motion analysis
WESTCAM is your professional in the field of 3D deformation and motion measurement. Regardless of whether you want to test your components or samples for deformation under force or analyze complex motion sequences: WESTCAM’s technicians will support you – from the measurement setup to the evaluation and interpretation of the results. At WESTCAM, we rely on the high-precision ARAMIS systems from ZEISS.
The ARAMIS systems work contact-free and according to the principle of digital image correlation (DIC). This eliminates the need for expensive and, above all, time-consuming preparation of the test object using special equipment such as strain gages, accelerometers or displacement transducers. Based on triangulation, the systems provide precise 3D coordinates for full-surface or point measurements.
ARAMIS Professional Software
Our options cover both static and dynamic tests up to the high-speed range. The integrated Aramis controller can also be used to integrate the test environment, for example to record analog signals or trigger external signals. This ensures that the entire test sequence is synchronized and therefore much easier to interpret. The testing controller also enables multi-sensor, i.e. measurements with several sensors from different viewing directions.
The ARAMIS Professional software offers a wide range of options, particularly in the area of evaluation and reporting.
