3D laser scanning & BIM modeling
There are many reasons for the digital recording of buildings, halls and industrial plants:
3D scans provide the ideal basis for as-built models (actual condition compared to planning models) for expansion and conversion measures as well as revitalization in the field of architecture and construction.
The “digital twin” is used here as well as in the infrastructure sector and in trade and industry. The biggest advantage: maximum planning reliability thanks to the exact 3D scan of the existing building.
Depending on customer requirements, we supply not only the exact 3D point cloud but also the reconstructed BIM model in various formats.

3D scan / as-built survey
Thanks to our many years of experience in this field, we know what is important: precise clarification of the customer’s actual requirements and high-quality data acquisition including the fastest possible BIM model provision – in order to be able to meet even short-term schedules
3D (BIM) model creation
Depending on the customer’s requirements, we can also provide BIM models with varying degrees of detail in addition to the recorded and precisely registered 3D point cloud. Common formats are Revit, ArchiCAD, ACAD, Microstation and many more.

Further areas of application

There are also use cases in the field of monument protection and restoration: the documentation of historical buildings, the archiving of cultural heritage sites in digital form, or support in the reconstructive modeling of damaged structures.

Facility Management & Maintenance
Use of scan data for maintenance plans and technical documentation
Creation of 3D building models for effective asset management
Improving energy efficiency by analyzing building structures
In the area of construction progress control, safety analysis & construction site management, the regular digital inventory can be used, for example, for the early detection of deviations and errors – as well as for ensuring compliance with tolerances and building regulations. In addition, the digital twin can be used to assess hazardous areas and improve construction site logistics, and provides support for emergency and evacuation plans.
