Automation Basics | Basic
Target group
Users who want to standardize, automate and thus accelerate workflows in hyperMILL.
Prerequisites
hyperMILL Basic training or sound knowledge and experience with hyperMILL. In addition, the user should already have a good tool database and be familiar with its use.
Learning content
The basics of automation focus on the complete automation of components such as drill holes and pockets.
In this training course, we will show you how to standardize and automate programming processes using hyperMILL feature and macro technology. Part of this training is the creation and structuring of a macro database. Feature and macro technology can significantly reduce programming effort. In this training course, templates for feature and macro programming of pockets and holes are developed together. You can immediately use the content programmed in the training for your own programming.
Numerous exercises on practical components as well as valuable tips and tricks from the trainers round off the training. Our aim is to offer participants an automation solution that can be integrated directly into their day-to-day work. We therefore recommend an accompanying workshop after each module in order to implement what has been learned in the best possible way. Before this workshop, we define the goals that the customer wants to achieve with the automation in a personal meeting.
Course content:
- Geometry/feature recognition
- Creation of macros (processing sequences)
- Creation of intelligent macros
- Defining editing rules
- Working with color tables
- Creation of automatic clamping devices*
- Use of the Automation Center Basic*
*This training content is not available for the integration of hyperMILL in Inventor or SolidWorks.
