Optical Metrology in the plastics industry | Basic

Target group

People who deal with the topic of optical Metrology in plastic part production or toolmaking.

Prerequisites

Windows knowledge, industry-specific basic knowledge

Learning content

In tune with the times: utilizing the advantages of full-surface component evaluation

Your added value in practice: Understanding the advantages and possible applications of optical Metrology solutions for plastics technology processes

Learn about the possibilities and advantages of optical Metrology for plastics technology processes:

This 2-day training program focuses on the following topics:

  • Overview of the advantages of full-surface component measurement for initial sampling
  • Overview of the advantages of full-surface component measurement for SPC control during series production
  • Overview of the advantages of full-surface component measurement for incoming goods inspection
  • Overview of the advantages of full-surface component measurement in toolmaking

In practical live sessions, participants will have the opportunity to operate various optical measuring systems themselves.

  • Both plastic parts and tool components are measured together.
  • It is also possible for participants to bring their own components including CAD data to the training. (prior agreement requested)
  • However, this is not a specific software training course.
