Learning content
During the basic training course, which lasts several days, you will learn the basic use of the software hyperMILL in the integrated version for Solidworks. Starting with the user interface through to tips & tricks, all seminar content is taught using practical examples.
Course content
Programming interface / basic settings
- Component preparation and programming interface – Definition of machining lists and coordinate systems
- Creating blanks, milling areas and tool and holder geometries
- Familiarization with the various simulation options, NC file and documentation options (report)
- First cycle definitions in the 2D area (contour and pocket machining, definition of drilling cycles, residual material machining, radius correction)
- Working with 3D cycles (roughing, various finishing strategies, residual material processing)
Feature and macro technology
- Working with automated geometry recognition and programming
- Creating and editing a knowledge database
