Do you use a 3D measuring system from ZEISS? Then you’re in luck: with WESTCAM Metrology Care, we also offer prompt solutions for on-site hardware maintenance, repairs and certifications for your ZEISS 3D scanners.

For our customers in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, we are improving our on-site service options and you will benefit from this.

We take care of you

Previously, any hardware defects, e.g. on the ATOS sensor head, could only be repaired at Carl ZEISS GOM Metrology GmbH in Braunschweig. It was not unusual to have to organize an alternative solution for the upcoming measuring tasks during the repair period. But that is now a thing of the past! New service technicians have been appointed worldwide for the new WESTCAM Metrology Care service package and trained by long-standing and experienced service experts from GOM/ZEISS.

Our WESTCAM 3D-Metrology specialists were of course in the thick of it instead of just being there! This means that WESTCAM provides hardware support, maintenance and any repairs or measuring equipment recertification for ATOS and T-SCAN hawk 2 systems in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

For you, this means personal support and reliable, fast service that “fits”. Typical WESTCAM!

What’s in the care package?

WESTCAM Metrology Care is based on three pillars: Support, maintenance and repair, and acceptance.

  • Support will answer your questions on the phone, by e-mail or remote maintenance and will help you if you are stuck. Our friendly WESTCAM support staff will listen to your problem and deal with it as quickly as possible. Many problems can be solved remotely in just a few minutes, so that you can concentrate on the essentials again: Your work.
  • Planned system maintenance or repairs to your system can now be carried out directly at your premises. Our specially trained service technicians will help you competently with a wide range of hardware issues.
  • The third pillar of the WESTCAM Metrology Service Package is the acceptance test in accordance with VDI 2634, Sheet 3, which ensures that the measuring equipment is monitored. This standardized test carried out by a WESTCAM service technician provides you with a certificate confirming the measuring accuracy of your system, taking into account all relevant system components.

Something to suit everyone: your options

You can take advantage of all of the above services from the service package: GOM Care by WESTCAM, individually, or you can opt for the multi-year contract, with which you are covered in any case:

Proactive maintenance via Hardware Maintenance or Care Protect

Hardware Maintenance or Care Protect is a 36-month maintenance contract that provides you with comprehensive protection. This all-round package includes, among other things:

  • Regular maintenance of your entire installation by a WESTCAM service expert and on-site inspection of all important components
  • The proactive replacement of defined wear parts
  • The GOM Acceptance Test: Acceptance according to VDI 2634, Sheet 3
  • Comprehensive remote support including the shortest response times: The first free WESTCAM support employee is reserved for you
  • Should a spontaneous on-site repair be necessary despite regular maintenance, you benefit from fast availability of spare parts and access to WESTCAM service experts (only with Care Protect)
